L.A. Bikini is dedicated to providing a safe and secure environment and services.
Because safety is our top priority, terms and policies are enforced with no exceptions.
L.A. Bikini WILL NOT service customers with:
TANNING & SUGARING
We recommend waiting at least 24–48 hours between sugaring and tanning because your skin may be more sensitive. Because sugaring exfoliates the skin by removing the top layer of dead surface skin cells, you’re more likely to experience sunburn. If you are going to go in the sun within 48 hours of sugaring, we recommend wearing sunscreen with an SPF of 30 or more.
PREGNANCY & SUGARING
We will service pregnant women up to the 7th month of pregnancy with signed consent. Providing the accurate pregnancy term and customer physical condition is the sole responsibility of the customer. However, you may experience more skin sensitivity due to the hormonal changes your body is going through. Our sugaring specialists will make you as comfortable as possible during the service. We always recommend checking with your doctor if sugaring is right for you while you are pregnant due to higher sensitivity levels.
POSSIBLE ALLERGIC REACTIONS
When booking an appointment customer understands the following risks with sugaring:
LATE POLICY & CANCELATIONS
As a courtesy to our team and other clients, please allow 12 hours’ notice for cancellations and rescheduling requests. A late cancelation penalty fee of 25% of the service price is charged if a booking is cancelled or rescheduled within 12 hours of service. If a reservation results in a No-Show, a penalty fee of 50% of the service price will be charged.
You can cancel/reschedule your appointment using the link in the booking reminder email (sent 48 hours before your appointment) or by calling the studio phone and speaking to a team member. Arrival 10 minutes or more after your treatment time will be considered a “No Show” and the penalty fee will apply.
Even though we do not do it often, and it’s not in our interest, L.A. Bikini reserves the right to cancel any appointment without providing an explanation and reason. While the human factor might cause scheduling and staffing difficulties, we do our best to accommodate clients.
